The project began with a series of ceramic form experiments exploring how sharp edges, spatial gaps, and surface qualities influence the behavior of light. Through observation, recording, and comparison of shadows, reflections, and light diffusion, relationships between form and light gradually emerged. These findings informed the development of a modular ceramic lighting system, where each piece functions not only as a source of illumination but also as a record of the experimental process — resulting in objects positioned between design, sculpture, and spatial lighting.
